Case Solving Seminar

Course structure

This course is mostly organized as a self-study. Work will be done in groups of three to five students. Seminar sessions are as follows:

Kick-off (November 2 from 19:00-20:00 in LG 0.423): All topics are presented and explained, as well as organizational issues and other relevant information.

Teams will have to present their progress on the chosen topic.

Content and goals of the course

  • We present you cases to understand, analyze and solve problems in real-world situations.
  • You will work in teams and apply your theoretical knowledge in solving the cases.
  • You will learn how to set up and conduct an IT project.
  • The course will provide you an opportunity to improve your soft skills such as communication, group working, and problem solving.
